Case Management

A “case” is any project, transaction, service or response that is “opened” and “closed” over a period of time to achieve a resolution.  It is likely to involve multiple persons inside and outside of the organization, with varying relationships to each other, and require a combination of human tasks and electronic workflows.

Examples of cases include an incoming application, a submitted claim, a complaint, or a claim that is moving to litigation....
